To play your part in this complex and fascinating operation you will join a small but expert and motivated team at our Grimsby hub. It’s busy, it’s fun and every day is different as you work together to reach the next level and service a wide range of international customers.

Accuracy and efficiency

Your core function in this role is to perform general administration and customs work. This includes tasks such as:

Documentation completion (Health Certificates);

Invoicing and customs data entry.

Time is always of the essence so it’s important that you can work quickly and efficiently in order to meet deadlines. Of course, it will help if you already have some customs or freight-forwarding knowledge and experience. However, experience is not essential and we will provide all the training you need to do the job to the best of your ability. And once you’re up and running, you will be free to work from home for at least some of the time.

As mentioned above, you don’t need any experience to apply for this role. Instead, what really matters is that you have an enthusiastic and disciplined approach to the training we provide, followed by a hard-working and independent approach to the job itself.

Beyond that, the only formal requirements are:

  • College education;
  • Knowledge of standard office programs (Excel, Microsoft Word);
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
