Samskip’s Customer Services (CS) team is 100% committed to helping our customers transport their goods internationally without a hitch. To optimize the CS team in Milan we are currently looking for a motivational leader who can ensure that everyone on the team performs at their best. Coordination and motivation

You lead a CS team of five people in Milan whilst also managing some key customers yourself. It’s an energetic and diverse team and you are there to lead by example! So you share your knowledge and share the load, always acting in a supportive manner so that the team is able to keep our customers constantly updated and informed. Detailed daily responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the CS team throughout the day;
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels and an even distribution of tasks;
  • Observing internal procedures are in line with Samskip processes;
  • Managing key customers yourself.

Experience and inspiration

To apply for this position you should have experience in transport, shipping or logistics, along with experience of coordinating the activities of a team. Beyond that, you are a positive and person who can inspire your team so that our operations run smoothly every day of the week. The formal requirements are:

  • A business-related Bachelor’s degree;
  • At least five years of experience in the shipping/logistics industry;
  • You have coordinated the activities of a team for at least two years;
  • Able to act as a convincing leader and knowledge sharer;
  • Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English.
